Happy Wednesday afternoon, friends.
How is everyone doing on this beautiful mid‑week afternoon? I hope you’re easing into the day with something warm in your hands and a little peace in your heart. Drop me a comment or shoot me a text — you know I love hearing from you.
This morning I received the loveliest message from one of my readers, someone who has become a friend in this little corner we’ve created together. I’m so grateful for her, and for every single one of you who stops by, reads, and shares pieces of your heart with me. Your words always touch me more than you know.
She wrote:
“I believe nothing, NOTHING happens by chance. The universe guides us.”
Hugs and tenderness back to you.
I sat with those words for a moment — really sat with them — and through my shuffling around kind of morning, I felt something shift inside me. Maybe you’ve had moments like that too, where someone else’s sentence feels like it was delivered straight to your doorstep.
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about connection… about why I write… about the kind of community I hope to build here. And then this message arrives, wrapped in tenderness, from a woman who has lived enough life to trust the quiet nudges of the universe.
It felt like confirmation.
A reminder that the right people find each other at the right time.
A reminder that we’re guided more than we realize.
A reminder that none of us are meant to walk alone.
Her words made me think about all of you — the ones who read quietly, the ones who reach out, the ones who carry memories that still ache, the ones who are trying to make sense of their own stories. You are the reason I show up here. You are the reason this space exists.
And because her message touched me so deeply, I want to honor her by sharing her site with you. She writes with the same softness she sent to me, and I think some of you will feel at home in her corner too.
If the universe really does guide us — and I believe it does — then maybe this little community is one of those places we were meant to find each other.
Tell me…
Have you ever received a message, a sign, or a sentence that arrived at the exact moment you needed it?
I’m always amazed at how our stories find each other here.
Thank you for being part of this little circle we’re creating.
A warm little ribbon, hand‑stitched from my corner to yours,
Dawna — may the butterflies remind you that we are all still becoming
I know that I’m eternally grateful that we’ve connected through WP… hugs
