Happy Monday night everyone!
How was your day? Mine was a good one, but I’d sure love to hear from all of you. Shoot me a text or drop me a comment and let me know what’s going on in your world.
The last few days have been busy yet relaxing. I’ve had a ton to do but took the time I needed to rest. I actually felt pretty good today. I even began a new online class. “Memoir and Personal Essay: Managing Your Relationship with the Reader.”- Wesleyan University online class.
I just love these online classes. I feel accomplished and it helps me to become a better writer. Do any of you take online classes? I’d love to hear about them. What class interests do you have? One day I hope to take a writing class that revolves around nature. I’ve seen a few classes offered, however, they’re all in person and nothing close to me. One day.
Today I saw this wonderful phrase pop up and I thought it was way to cool of a phrase to not share with you.
Glow Up. Which means, A major, positive transformation in appearance of confidence.
Today, I’m glowing up. I am allowing myself to transform into a more positive person who has confidence in my own abilities to do some pretty amazing things in life. Are you with me? Are you ready to glow up too? Maybe you already have? If so, what steps did you take to get where you are today? If you’re not there yet, what steps are you taking to get to the most positive place you can be?
With the day getting away from me, I thought for tonight’s glow up blog post, I would share some photos of my last couple of days.
Below are a few photos of the Elvis tribute concert my son gifted to John and I last week. Boy, was it a wonderful evening out and the concert wasn’t half bad.

Friday night we celebrated John’s sister Amy’s birthday out in Ramona. It sure was an incredible evening out with his family. It’s my first big outing since my surgery and the first time I was able to spend time with John’s wonderful family. Celebrating a birthday is always extra special. Below are a few photos of the most beautiful sky I captured on our trip to Ramona. Hope you enjoy them. Believe me when I say this, the pictures don’t do the sky any sort of justice.

Saturday morning Ms. Molly figured out finally how to jump up on our bedroom window seat.

Oh, did I mention that John gave me my Valentine gift early? Well, he did. Isn’t she a beautiful piece of art?

I’ve always dreamt of having my very own water feature in my very own yard. I’m in absolute love with it. Just sitting upstairs on my balcony, I feel like I’m in the middle of the forest or mountains. I love sitting outside, enjoying the trees swaying and hearing my waterfall. I am certainly one lucky gal for sure.

Then, John and I enjoyed another quiet evening at home with our perfect fireplace.

This morning, Molly enjoyed a little more sunbathing. I think she’s a happy girl.

Then John and I wrapped up our Monday with this critter in our backyard. John was quick to give me a big hug and kiss and say, “welcome to homeownership.” Yeah, our home isn’t meant to have these guys moving in, even if it is only in our backyard.

Tomorrow I must head over to the Home Depot and pick up some possum deterrent. I don’t mind them hanging out where I can’t see them, but when you’re down in the common area where Molly and Oreo explore, well, it’s for sure, time to move on.
Well guys, I’m ready for bed. My nighttime meds have officially kicked in, so on that note, I’ll be saying goodnight.
Until next time, don’t forget, Love Life++ Hugs.
It ‘s wonderful that you have started another online class, I have neither to time or patience to do one

Thank you Joanne. I do enjoy my classes. For so long I was like you, no time and with no time came along, no patience.
Hugs to you.

Ah, but they eat mosquitoes! They’ll help you sit in your backyard with fewer of those little varmints 😀
And they can’t get or carry I believe it’s Lyme Disease – or another that you don’t want nor have your little pups get.
I’d Welcome the little guy.

Hmm, well, I’m not exactly sure where he took off to, but, I won’t lie, he did scare me a bit. Molly sure got curious and I sure didn’t want her getting bit.
I learned something new though, I didn’t know possums kept the mosquitos away. Very interesting.
Hugs

I’m told they are very gentle creatures, playing dead if attacked.
Maybe he/she was on your ‘Welcoming Committee’ – welcoming you to your home! 😎

Haha, you made me laugh Patrice. I love that. Thinking God’s little critter came to welcome me and the pups to our new home.
I think part of my fear with him/her is attacking Ms. Molly. Goodness knows, she’s soooooo curious and she did try to get in the possum’s space.

Good to know. Thank you for sharing. They are also pretty good about keeping those rattlers out of the yard too. I have never seen one and I am glad about that.
