Woodsy walk

Happy Friday night everyone!

How are you all doing? Ready for the weekend? I sure am. I can hardly wait for tomorrow because I get to go and enjoy the “Many Wonders of Christmas”. Our local community church hosts this event every year and boy is it an incredible day with some pretty amazing ladies. The Many Wonders of Christmas is a women’s outreach that raises money for different things like helping send kids to camp. I’m not exactly sure what this year’s funds go towards, but I’ll be sure and share if I find out. Hoping to post some fun photos too.

I wanted to share some photos with you. This morning when the pups and I began our day, we took a stroll and this time, I remembered my phone. I captured a few photos that I wanted to share with you all. Hope you enjoy them.

I just love the woody walk. The sound of water dripping down from the tops of the tress made this morning’s walk that much more enjoyable. With last night and this morning’s rain, it made everything pop with color and the smell of the leaves that had just been watered, well, if you’re a woodsy kinda person, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

This evening John went for a little walk with me and the pups, and I was able to capture two pretty amazing photos of the clouds that were mirrored in the water. Seeing the water reminds me of exactly how grateful I am to live in such a beautiful place.
