Quickie

Happy Monday evening,

How are you all doing this magnificent Monday? I hope you had an incredible weekend and first day back to work or school. Shoot me a text or drop me a comment. I’d love to hear all about what’s happening in your world.

Today was a busy day for me. I finished up my creative writing lectures and now I must complete my final assignment. I need to write a short story in 1,000 words. Fingers crossed the professor likes my story. I’ve been scoring A’s in my class, but more important, I’m learning so much. Thank you, Stephanie, for suggesting I take classes. I join a writer’s group and for all the encouragement, but more importantly, for believing in me. I am blessed to have you on my side.

I spent much of my weekend writing, reading and crafting. I have wonderful topics to share with you this week, but for tonight, I just wanted to drop in and say hi. Oh, wonderful news. John got my new laptop up and running and gosh do the keys feel incredible under the tips of my fingers. I love, love, love my new laptop. Thank you, John. I promise to write countless hours and hopefully a best seller with these keys and laptop in hand.

Oh, before I forget, I have one more surprise to share with you all. The last two photos you’ll see what I got today. One of my besties has a pair and I fell in love with them, so John surprised me with a pair. I can’t wait to show them off. I’ll be wearing them proudly.

While bumming around Michaels I saw a ghost painting that is selling for $70 bucks. Of course, it was at least an 11 x 14, but holy heck, $70 bucks. So, I watched a couple YouTube videos and made my own version of the ghost painting. Thoughts? Mine is smaller, but still, it cost me mostly time and a canvas. The rest of everything I had on hand.

And now for the big reveal. Look what John got me. I absolutely love them.
