Was reading about a kid who was a poor student, shy, and somewhat of a social outcast. But one thing he could do was draw. He tried unsuccessfully to get his cartoons published in the school paper. After school, he tried and tried, never giving up. He channeled all his teenage angst and unanswered questions into his cartoons but was turned down by publisher after publisher. Finally, someone picked him up and the rest was history.
WOW Darryl, incredible story. Thank you for sharing. It truly touches my heart hearing these kind of stories because it shows how important it is never to give up. It shows that others might not agree with you, like what you do or even like your creativity, but if you believe in yourself, well, like you said, the rest is history.
Hugs

The guy was Charles Schulz, creator of “Peanuts.”
