Finally Friday

Happy Friday,

How are you all doing this evening? I hope you had a wonderful work week. We are waking up tomorrow to our last weekend of June 2025. Where the heck is time going so quickly? Time is always in a rush and never seems to slow down. I suppose this could be the Universe telling us to stop and smell the roses. Enjoy the people in our lives that we love. Enjoy our home. Enjoy the little things.

Tonight’s blog will be short again. I had my test/procedure done this morning and I’ve been struggling all day with a sore throat and chest. The nurse said this is normal and I should be back to chatting away by tomorrow, Sunday at the latest.

On my way to my procedure this morning I was blessed to watch the sunrise. I was thankful to be able to watch it because it’s another day of life I get to live.

The sunrise was quite calming for me to see. When I headed out this morning I could tell my anxiety level was up and there’s always something about God’s creations that bring me peace.

I hope you enjoy the photos almost as much as I enjoyed experiencing this wonderful gift.

The photos certainly don’t do it justice. The glare from the car window wasn’t a help either, but believe me, it sure was stunning to see.

At one point of my drive I went through a cloud of fog. That was sort of cool too. Below are a couple photos before driving into it. Hope you like them.
