Happy Thursday evening,
How is everyone doing this evening? I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to read my letter to Mother yesterday. Your love and support mean so much to me.
Tomorrow is Friday and then we launch straight into the weekend. One more week and we get to celebrate the 4th of July! I’m excited. Friends, family and fireworks here in the lake. Nothing beats it.
Tonight I thought I’d share some photos with you all. I have a super early morning tomorrow. I need to check into the hospital for a test/procedure at 6:45 am. UGH! Gonna be a early day. Not looking forward to the test, but I gotta do what I gotta do to feel better and hopefully be able soon to keep food down.
This morning when I came home I almost stepped on this guy/gal. I let out a little scream and thankfully, none of the neighbors heard me. Within an hour, he/she was gone. The little critter startled me because he/she was sitting between two stepping stones and I was caught off guard.
I sure hope wherever he/she have gone she/he have found a good home. Preferably one that is not between my stepping stones or in my garden bed.

Everything went well. I’m home and trying to rest, even though that’s not in my vocabulary. I will say, I don’t have tons of energy.

That is a wonderful way to look at it. I did rest mostly today. I took a couple small walks, but mostly, I slept and stayed in bed. My body just wouldn’t allow me to do anything more.
