Christmas countdown

Happy Sunday evening

How are you doing on this amazing Sunday evening? Did you enjoy your weekend? I’d love to hear all about it, so shoot me some photos or drop me a comment, it’s always a pleasure hearing from you all.

It’s been a busy couple of days and guess what, I’m still not done decorating for Christmas. I’m almost done. I need to finish John’s tree in his office, then I can move onto the villages. Goal is to be completely done by Friday.

John leaves tomorrow for a business trip. Sure gonna miss him. Tonight we participated in a golf cart parade within our community. John worked so hard making our golf cart look amazing. He did an Elf on a Shelf theme and of course, we had to dress up to fit the theme. We even won an award for our golf cart. We got first place for most outrageous.

Below are some photos of tonight’s event. I hope you enjoy. This was our golf cart.

It was such a fun event. For some reason I’m not able to add any more photos, so I’ll have to work on that and then share later with you.

This is the first time we participated in the parade and boy did we have fun. Listening to Christmas music, singing along and enjoying talking with all the participants.

We enjoyed funnel cake, tacos and all the festivities.

This event marked it’s 13th year tonight and it’s not only a golf cart parade but a toy drive where all the toys collected go to kids in the foster care system.

There was music and lots good ol’ fashion neighborly interactions. People were in such a festive mood and it was a great way to end the weekend. I loved being a part of the golf cart parade and I can’t wait to see what theme we come up for next year.

Well guys, I have an early rise time for tomorrow. I need to get John to the airport so I’m going to say goodnight and pleasant dreams.

Until next time, don’t forget, Love Life++ Hugs
