Thanksgiving Eve

Happy Thanksgiving Eve,

How are you doing? Anyone pulling their hair out yet trying to get things done or where you able to get your chores, shopping, decorating and house cleaned? Maybe you’re traveling for this Thanksgiving? Whatever your plans are, I do hope it’s a magical day for you and your family.

I’m actually feeling not too stressed. I had all my shopping done yesterday. I got most of the big cleaning done yesterday and I’m finishing up tonight with small details. The table is pretty much set and I have enough room to sit all 13 guests comfortably at the table. I’m grateful for that.

I am searching for some small decorations to place on the table to complete it. Of course I didn’t think table decor only outside and house decor. I’m sure I can pull some things from here and there and make the table look a bit more festive, or maybe I’ll just leave it so there’s more room for eating. Guess I’ll play that by ear. I’ll share photos, that is if I can remember to take them.

Johns busy cleaning his office which also has our bar set up. I’m just glad he takes care of that space, otherwise, I’d have a super long night ahead of me.

Tomorrow I need to get up, walk the pups, then begin to prep the Turkey and get him ready to cook. I have some appetizers to put together along with making some fresh brewed Ice tea and infused water. Our guests won’t arrive until after 1 so I figure I have enough time to putter around and get everything done. Everyone is bringing something to share, which I’m beyond thankful for. This is the first year I didn’t insist on doing all the cooking. I’ve always had others bring appetizers and desserts, but this year, my family and friends are bringing some of the main dishes.

I’m excited to see how everything comes together and I’m even more excited to have laughter engulfing our home.

Tonight I wanted to reach out to everyone and wish you all a Happy, Happy, Happy Thanksgiving Eve and an incredibly amazing Thanksgiving Day tomorrow no matter what you have going on in life. I pray we can all find something to be thankful for.

My dear readers, I’d like to leave you tonight with this little poem I came across. I hope you like it and please don’t forget, Love Life++ Hugs.

  1. You are precious. Your family will be blessed by having your memories for them to read; those thoughts of yours will be great thoughts of encouragement for your family to read, and to put into their own writings.
