Mary K. Doyle

Happy Friday,

How are you all doing on this amazing Friday evening? The three day weekend has officially begun. What are your plans? Shoot me a text or drop me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.

I wanted to thank everyone for your suggestions regarding my hummingbird feeder and the bees taking over. I sure hope they’ve got their fill, but no telling yet. For now, I’ll leave my little feeder empty for a week or so. Maybe the bees will get the hint and move onto a new feeder far, far, far away.

I don’t dislike bees, but I am not happy that they’ve decided to run my little bird friends out of town. So fingers crossed the bees will leave and I’ll have my birdies back soon.

Today I wanted to share something utterly amazing with all of you. I received the most amazing, thoughtful and loving gift from a fellow blogger and friend. Mary K. Doyle from https://midwestmary.com/ sent me one of her masterpieces. She has such an amazing talent, not only for writing but for photography. I highly recommend you check out her page. I have no doubt you’ll be blown away by her work as much as I am.

Mary knows how much I love hummingbirds and I had commented not long ago on her blog. I complimented her for being able to capture the amazing hummingbird in flight. Well, I need to share with you all, I’m the proud recipient of one of her photographs and it will forever be displayed in my home.

Mary even went the extra mile and made me a card, the one right above and she added another beautiful photo she had taken to that very card.

My dear readers, I am beyond touched to have received such a loving gift from someone whose become my friend, though we’ve never met.

Mary cheers me on. She always has a kind word to say and lately, she’s been sharing photos of a place I’ve dreamt many of dreams, but didn’t know exactly where this place was, that is until Mary wrote about and shared photos on her blog. That place is, Mackinac Island located in Michigan.

Mackinac Island, summer resort, Mackinac county, northern Michigan, U.S. It is situated in Lake Huron near the Straits of Mackinac and has ferry connections to St. Ignace and Mackinaw City, on Michigan’s Upper and Lower peninsulas, respectively.- http://www.britanica.com.

I have dreamt of this exact home and Mary captured the photo that was in my mind.

I’ve dreamt of writing in a park like setting much like the one below. I never knew where it was located, that is until Mary shared this photo.

Can you imagine being able to get up early in the morning, watch the sun rise high into the sky and write. This would be the picture place to do it.

And finally, to be able to wrap up my day here, listening to the water below, watching the sunset over the vastness of the sea. Writing stories that are captured within the rock formations. Writing about the people who are also mesmerized by the beauty of the island called Mackinac.

This blogging community that I’ve grown to not only love, but admire. I want to take this time to reach out to each and everyone of you who stop by and take time out of your busy lives to read my blog and comment. Thank you. And a special, heartfelt shout out to my dear friend Mary K. Doyle for making my day extra special with your gift of kindness. I am touched and feel the hugs every time I look at my hummingbird in flight. Thank you my dear friend. Thank you everyone for all the love and support.

Well guys, I’m nearing my deadline to submit my book to one of my favorite publishing companies, so I need to do my one last and final run through to make sure it’s good enough.

Wish me luck on this huge step I’m taking in an effort to become a published author. No matter what happens, I can honestly say, I have no regrets.

Until next time, don’t forget, Love Life++ Hugs.

  1. Hi:) thanks for checking my blog out. Haven’t been on for years..

    A belated weekend response:
    – pretty sure my daughter is on the autistic spectrum
    – my daughter was my informal poetry agent
    – my daughter has come out of hiding and is now my official poetry agent because we just signed a traditional offer of publication
    – my daughter is very excited
    – enthusiasm, joy and awe about what the Lord has done rests upon us like a cloud lit sun just starting to rain
    – my dog could have behaved better

    Hugs:)
