Happy Friday, friends.
How are you all doing on this fabulous Friday evening? I am doing incredibly well. My throat and chest are still in the healing phase, but overall, I’m feeling much better. How about you guys — what’s new in your neck of the woods? What plans do you have for this Easter weekend? Shoot me a text or drop a comment ’cause you know that makes my day.
I wanted to share a little something with you all tonight — something that, without a doubt, you’ve each helped me move toward. I’ve watched so many of you grow and thrive in your writing journeys, and I’m grateful every day to be part of this creative, supportive blogging community. You’ve helped me grow in ways I never expected, and for that, I’m truly thankful.
So many of you have been with me since the very beginning of this blogging adventure, cheering me on through every twist and turn. Thank you for believing in me, even when I wasn’t entirely sure where my writing was leading me.
In all honesty, I didn’t know what direction I was headed. I just knew I loved writing — loved connecting, sharing, reflecting. But over time, the Universe has been laying out a path so clearly that I can feel it in my bones. From the depths of my soul, I know this is my calling.
Tonight, I want to share a little bit about the journey ahead.
As I’m sitting here with a full heart and a quiet kind of excitement humming under everything, I can’t help but feel that today marked a milestone — one of those moments where you can almost feel a new chapter clicking into place.
I took a big step toward something I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. Something rooted in legacy, in living stories, in the echoes we leave behind. I’m not quite ready to share the full name of this new venture just yet — there are still a few pieces coming together — but today made it real in a way that feels both grounding and electric.
There’s something powerful about watching an idea move from your heart to paper to the world. Something about saying yes to the work you feel called to do. Something about honoring the stories that shape us and the voices that deserve to be heard.
And maybe that’s why tonight feels so special.
It’s the beginning of something I’ve carried quietly for years — a soft launch of a dream that’s finally stepping into the light.
Next week, I’ll be securing my DBA with the local newspaper. I’ll set up my business insurance and, of course, I’ll be getting a business license. I’m not sure of the exact date of my grand opening, but having the tools in place — the things that truly make a business official — well, they’ll be ready long before the actual launch date.
Who knows, maybe I’ll do a soft launch before the big reveal. You just never know what you’ll get with me on the keys.
Tomorrow, I’ll be at the Flower Fields with my girl tribe — one of my favorite spring traditions, or at least I hope it will be. There’s something about being surrounded by color and laughter and friendship that feels like the perfect way to celebrate this new beginning. I’m sure I’ll come home with a camera roll full of petals and memories… or at least a cell phone full of amazing photos from a day shared with my tribe.
I appreciate you being here tonight, reading this post. I feel so connected to this wonderful community, and many of you have become such dear friends in my life. Thank you for being here and for your continued support.
As always, I love hearing from you.
Your messages, your comments, your stories — they mean more than you know. If you’ve ever taken a leap of your own, or felt that tug toward something new, I’d love to hear about it.
Here’s to fresh starts, unfolding dreams, and the echoes we’re brave enough to follow.
Until next time, don’t forget, Love Life++ Hugs
Warmly,
Dawna‑Rae
