Happy Wednesday evening everyone!
How was your day? I do hope it was as wonderful as you. My day was spent in bed or laying on the couch. My new antibiotic is making me soooooo super sick. UGH. It’s taking all I’ve got to not throw up. I know if I did my nausea would feel better, but the inner work done, well, the doctor said vomiting would be very painful for at least the first three months post-op. Fingers crossed tomorrow is a better day.
With not feeling all that well tonight, I thought I would share a wonderful quote. Seems fitting for me tonight. It would be super easy for me to fall into a negative state since I’m couch or bed bound, but instead, I’m grateful that John is so understanding of me being sick. He’s so kind and insists I just lay down until my body gets used to the new meds. I am so blessed to have him by my side.
I am grateful that I could lay down on my balcony today and rest in the crisp, outdoor fresh air. I am blessed for so much in my life. I think John and my cups are overflowing with gratitude for our new home. He’s still so giddy and seeing him this happy fills my heart to the brim of happiness and gratitude.
We all face some pretty difficult situations in life, but when we stop for just a brief moment, is there a way we can find something to be grateful for?
The quote below is a good one to reflect on when we see ourselves slipping into negative.

As I reflected on my many blessings in life, the not feeling so great, while still there, it seemed less of a problem. Instead, being sick today gave me the opportunity to enjoy the sky. The lake. Seeing the pups out back enjoying their new backyard.
Below is a glimpse into my gratitude moments. I hope you enjoy. Excuse my pup stained window. Silly girls, when I close the slider, they decide to paw at it and put their noses all over it.

The incredible sky God gave to us tonight:

Back to Molly and Oreo. Of course, Oreo enjoys a little back scratching while Molly exlpores, that is, until Molly decides to do the same.

My two little besties. They sure do love their mama. They stick pretty close to me, especially when I’m sick.

As you can see, I still have some boxes to unpack. I’ll get to it. Hopefully by this weekend the boxes in my dining area will be unpacked and put away.

Well guys, that’s all I have for tonight. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read tonight’s blog.
Until next time, don’t forget, Love Life++ Hugs.

Love the pics, Dawna. And what would life be without doggie nose on the windows 🙂

You are so right. No doggy noses on my windows would have life feeling a little empty.

Thank you my friend. Yesterday was the absolute worse. Today I’m treading lightly and praying I can keep food down and that my body is now used to the antibiotics. Hope your day is as beautiful as you are my friend.
