Always the right time

Happy Saturday evening everyone!

How are you all doing tonight? How was your Saturday? Did you do anything fun and exciting, or did you enjoy a quiet day enjoying home life? Shoot me a text or drop me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.

Today was overall a really good day. I finally went to the grocery store all by myself after being nearly 3 weeks post-op. Thank goodness for the help loading my car and for John unloading when I got home. Still can’t lift over 8 pounds.

I wanted to cook dinner tonight and I needed a couple of things, so I decided to venture out and get what I needed. The little things in life.

I’m so excited to be on the mend and I’m grateful that when I begin to overdo things, my body is quick to remind me. I’m still on pain meds, but the doctor says when you have three surgeries in one, it’s to be expected. I’m a little slower than normal, but I am enjoying being able to take things slower. I’m learning to allow my new home to embrace me. I’m enjoying the daydreams of all the incredible possibilities of what Caliente will bring my way.

This is one of my latest daydreams. I’m sure I’ll never guild a real tree house, but it is something that I’ve always wanted, and this one is absolutely amazing.

Anyway, the point to all this ramble is this. Life is short. Take time to daydream. Take time to enjoy the little things in life. Like my friend Jan always says, “take time to dance like no one is watching.”

“Life’s too short to wait for the ‘right time’, because it may never come. The truth is, the moments that scare you the most are often the ones that change everything. Apply for the job, fall in love, book the flight, pursue that dream, take the risk…even if it feels terrifying. Every second you hesitate is a second you’ll never get back. The things that scare you the most often lead to the most beautiful chapters of your life.”-@fiftyandfearless.

We never know what’s on the other side of fear unless we take the chances that scare us.

“F-E-A-R has two meanings: ‘Forget everything and run’ or ‘face everything and rise.’ The choice is yours.

Seeing that life is too short to wait for the right time, it would then make sense to face our fears and rise above them.

For the majority of my life, I didn’t have a voice. I allowed others to think for me, govern my every moment and tell me that my dreams were stupid.

“Everything starts as somebody’s daydream.”-Larry Niven.

You never know what daydream your dreaming will become something absolutely amazing. It’s always the right time to dream. It’s always the right time to try something new. Remember, each moment we put off until tomorrow is a moment we’ll never get back. Time is something that can’t be put on hold. Once it comes and goes, it’s gone forever, so don’t waste it.

“Be Her. Be the woman who knows the grass is greener wherever she stands, because she brings value to every space she enters”. -womantainment/Chezile-Beanie.

Now as you go and lay your head on your pillow, take a moment to think a happy thought, pray for a dream that will take you on an adventure and wake up with a step in your giddy up and daydream a dream or two. Who knows, maybe tomorrow will be the right time to do something new.

Well guys, I’m off to bed. My sleepy pain meds are kicking in.

Until next time, don’t forget to Love Life++ Hugs.

PS:

Not a bad place for a potential tree house. Thoughts?

    1. Oh, that’s awesome! I love that. Swiss Family Robinson was a great movie. I might need to watch it again and I do agree, the height might be an issue, but it sure is beautiful
