Today was a rather busy day for me. I did some packing. I attended my clubs gift wrapping event. Being Santa’s elf always makes my heart happy. Then this evening I went to a friend’s home to watch our community boat parade. All I can say is, wow!! The boaters really outdid themselves this year. I was so appreciative of all their hard work.
I just got home and I’m a bit worn out, so I’ll just share a few photos with you all and say good night.

Happy New Year, Dawna. I hope you are well and your home is coming closer to being homey. I’m sorry I’ve been out of touch. The holidays and a number of ill family members kept my attention this last month.

Oh gosh, I do hope you are well along with your family. It’s so hard when our loved ones get sick, especially during the holidays. I had my surgery two weeks ago and I’m slow on the recovery. I’ve tried to prove the doctors wrong and get up and around, but the more I do, the more tired I become.
I can’t wait to write again and I sure do miss my daily readings of all the blogs. Fingers crossed I can start up again tomorrow, slowly that is. Much love and hugs to you Mary. Happy New Year to you and your entire family.
