Happy Friday everyone!
How are you? Are you ready for the weekend? We’re down to the last two weekends before Christmas. Have you got your shopping done? I’ve got most of my shopping done for the person I am secret Santa for. This year, Christmas isn’t going to be over the top for me. With my upcoming surgery on the 22nd, I won’t be able to do all the Christmas I generally do, but next year, watch out, I’ll be back with double the spirit.
Tonight’s blog will be short, but I did want to check in with you all and ask for your creative minds to come together and help me figure out this huge dilemma that I’m struggling with.
You see, the house we are hoping to buy, the one we are attempting to buy has got me a bit puzzled. I have been able to imagine every space in this home. I’ve been able to imagine and create this incredible Jungle Book/Rainforest back yard, all in my mind of course. I’ve been able to figure out the smaller than my current living room space. We’ve got John’s office space all figured out. John and I have dreamed of how we’ll set up and decorate our beautiful balcony, but I can’t figure out what to do with this odd center piece in the middle of my hopeful front yard.
I’ve thought a nice big fountain would be nice. I’ve thought of putting in beautiful Japanese Maple, much like the one below:

I just can’t figure out this space. So, I’m coming to all my friends here. HELP me please find my creative imagination for what to do with this space. All ideas are welcome. I just need a few ideas to get my brain blockage to open up and flow.
The back yard I can stare at photos and my brain goes directly into overdrive and I can imagine all sorts of incredible things, but this front yard, I’m at a loss. I sort of wonder if I have brain blockage because the front yard is the first thing people see when they drive up, and I don’t want to get it wrong. I want my yard to be inviting and beautiful. I want it to be pleasing to the eye. I want to get it right and hopefully, get it right the first time.
I’m struggling here with my front yard and gosh, if I could only figure out to either keep or donate the plant thingy that is currently taking up four spots in the middle of the ring.
You may be wondering at this point what the heck am I trying to describe here? Before I confuse you guys too, let me share a photo. I’ll try and take more photos tomorrow so you can see the yard from all kinds of angles, but for now, can you guys help me figure out what to do with the ring of confusion? I sure would appreciate it.

See what I mean? Or am I overthinking this? I actually love the black bark. It’s like a blank slate for me, but the center ring with the unknown plant, I can’t figure it out. Any ideas? Shoot me a text or drop me a comment, please.
Well guys, I do appreciate your help on this.
Before I say goodnight, I did want to share a couple more photos. Santa stopped by our little community campground this evening and I thought I’d share a little Christmas spirit from my little town to you and your family.
Hope you enjoy:

I’ll try and capture more photos this weekend to share. I did have some great Santa photos, but when I went to post them, I realized I had kiddos in the photos and out of respect for their privacy and because I didn’t have permission to post their photos, I thought it was best to not share those.
I do hope you all had a wonderful day and that you sleep tight. Until next time, don’t forget, Love Life++ Hugs.
Love all the festive decorations, Dawna. As for the front yard, my thought is to not drive yourself crazy trying to figure it all out at once. Maybe just live with it for awhile and let the house tell you what it wants the front yard to be 🙂 I do love Japanese maples though, or a couple of weeping cherries on either side of a bench?

Oh, I love this idea. A Hallmark front yard, and cherry trees are incredibly beautiful.
You have set my imagination to speed dial!!! I am super excited. I can imagine a beautiful bench, or better yet, a two person swing out front with cherry trees on both sides.
