Tuesday evening thoughts

Happy Tuesday evening everyone,

How was your day? Mine was a busy one and I’m so grateful I managed to finish as much as I did. Took care of tons of things that should have been on the front burner, however, they kept creeping back to those back burners.

John and I did a little bumming this evening and now we’re home. He’s not feeling well, so he’s laying low and watching a movie and I’m getting ready to head over to my nieces. She’s been watching the pups during our mold remediation and she called me today to let me know the pups haven’t felt well today. This pup mama needs to check in on her fur-babies to make sure they’re okay.

I got an update from my patency test today. I swallowed the ginormous pill yesterday and they say it usually is out of your body within 24 hours. Well, for some reason, the x-ray is showing blockage somewhere in my intestinal tract. Time for a CT scan. UGH.

This might explain why my iron counts are nearly non-existent and why I have a drip going on somewhere in my body causing a tinkle of a bleed. Fingers crossed the great doctors at UCSD figure this out soon.

In the meantime, I’ll keep plugging along.

On a good note, the TPI seems to be working. I’m at least 30-40% in less pain. Now, if this continues for at least 6 weeks the doctor said he can do this 3-4 times a year. Once the medication settles in my muscles, theory is, it will last longer and give me longer relief. Wouldn’t that be a huge blessing.

One thing that I am grateful for is the time I get to listen to more and more books. I’ve also been getting some extra time to read too. With the amount of driving I’m doing and while sitting in waiting rooms I’m taking advantage of being blessed with lots and lots of reading time. You know what they say: to be a good writer means you must read, read, read.

I actually just got a new book today. I’m almost done with the one I got Friday, so I’ll plan to start the new one tomorrow. They aren’t long books, the one I’m finishing now is only 265 pages and the other one is 163.

Well guys, time is escaping me. I need to get ready to head over to my nieces to spend the night with her and the pups.

I hope you all have a great rest of your evening.

Until next time, don’t forget, Love Life++ Hugs.

    1. It does feel good for sure. Today I’m planning on doing a little craft painting, a little writting along with researching some legal stuff.
Getting more answers to my medical issues and like you, reading short books is nice, especially when time is under a crunch.
