Where my times been spent

Happy Tuesday,

How is everyone doing on this fabulous Tuesday evening? Two work days down for many and three to go. How is your week going? I sure hope it’s as amazing as you my dear friends and readers. Shoot me a text or drop me a comment, I’d love to hear what you’ve all been up to.

I’m still in Halloween decorating mode. Seems John and I keep adding to the decorations out front. In fact, John just set up his bubble making and fog machines. He loves that sort of thing where I’m more about the actual decorations. Glad we each have our strong suit when it comes to transforming our home into a Halloween site to see.

Of our neighbors stopped over earlier today to tell John that he thinks we have the best decorated home in our condo complex. That really made John’s day. It’s always nice to get complimented when you work so hard to make something look so good.

Below are some photos I took Sunday, but we have done a lot more since these were taken. I haven’t had the chance to take updated photos, however, I will try and grab some tonight in order to share with you perhaps tomorrow if I get time to just sit and write. I have a couple doctor appointments in San Diego, so I’m not sure how late I’ll be gone.

Casper isn’t exactly fitting in with our theme even though he’s super beyond cute, therefore, I’ll be taking him down tomorrow and adding my new climbing zombie.

I’ve also added some garage decorations. I’m hoping they’ll look really cool with the fire laser I have pointed on them.

I’ll have to ask John if there’s a way I can take a video to share with you guys. The photos don’t really do the display justice.

The decorating has certainly kept me busy along with all my house chores and helping John with Grant and of course, Molly and Oreo keep me busy too. I’ve been busier then my body likes so my brain feels dead. I’m on auto pilot right now. Hopefully after my double procedure on Monday I’ll get some much needed rest. I need it.

Last night was an amazing evening. I went to a friends restaurant and enjoyed a sip and paint. Both my daughter in law and daughter in law to be were there too along with a good friend and a new friend I made. We had an amazing time. It’s always so much fun crafting, painting and enjoying friendships.

Here is my little masterpiece. I sort of of love how it turned out.

I got a little carried away with the star splatters, but I still think it turned out nice. I love the way Kaitlyn and Jaggers turned out too. Below are the three of us together.

Each of us had a different idea of what a dark night under the stars would look like. I love how we all made our paintings uniquely our own.

I’ve also been super busy making some of my own Halloween props. I just started making wine bottles for my pirates. Here’s one all done. What do you think?

Tonight I’ll be adding some bright red and neon green and purple to the other bottles. Not sure how I’ll display them safely yet, but I’m sure I’ll think of a way.

Well guys, this is how I’ve spent my last couple of days. This is where my time has gone. I might not be getting my writing done the way I like, however, I am enjoying my time decorating and creating. I’m always in my element when I craft. Makes me so happy to be able to accomplish even little things lately. Keeps my mind distracted from all the crazy coming up in my life.

Well guys, it’s time for me to get some chores done and most importantly, put away the dinner.

Thank you for stopping by and taking your time to read today’s blog. I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening and until next time, don’t forget, Love Life++ Hugs.
