Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this fabulous Friday night? Did you have a good week? I sure hope so. We’re just a couple hours from the weekend, so you know what I always ask. Any plans? Shoot me a text or drop me a comment, I’d love to hear from you.
I had a rather busy week without accomplishing a whole lot of writing and that’s okay. I figure I’ll be back on track as soon as my head stops spinning. In the meantime, I thought I’d share a little bit about my week if that’s okay? Just wanted to keep everyone up to date, but mostly, I wanted to let you know that I am still around, just needed a little time out.
Monday was an unusual day. Grant had some things he needed help with at school, so that took much of our evening until I went to bed. John and Grant worked late into the night handling the assignment Grant needed to take care of. John didn’t actually come to bed until after 12:30 am.
Tuesday was an exciting day. While I had some anxiety of how things would go, much to my surprise, the day went way better then expected and I am so thankful for that. Tuesday was an extra special day. John and I went to welcome his youngest kiddo home. He had moved to Montana for a bit and he’s finally home in Southern California. I know John is super beyond excited to have him back. It sure is hard when our kiddos move away, yet exciting when they return.
Wednesday was a fun evening for me. I went to a sit and sew at a quilt store with my friend Susan. We have so much fun at quilting sit and sews. We had 12 of us quilters Wednesday, each of us working on our own quilts and each was and is so unique. So much talent wrapped up in one room. Amazing and inspiring.
Today I went to visit Aunt Billie at her new home at the assisted living place. She’s struggling a bit with being away from her own home, however, she realizes that she is well taken care of and she’s not alone and so far away. She is getting nearly daily visits from her daughter and grandkids and then I stop by once a week. I really do enjoy spending time with her.
Aunt Billie sure does love sharing her stories and life’s journey. She said to me today, “Hon, I sure do have a lot of stories to share.” Aunt Billie, keep them coming. I’ll write them down and when you take your final sleep, hopefully not anytime soon, I’ll be sure to pass those stories down to your wonderful daughter.
Stay tuned for some wonderful Aunt Billie stories. I’ll be sure to share some with everyone real soon.
I got a call from my doctors office this week and I found out that I’ll be having not only the colonoscopy but an endoscopy. On a good note, I’ll be under complete sedation. I’m okay with that.
The vomiting hasn’t stopped as of yet. Seems a little worse. I’m pretty much on a liquid diet though I can keep down frozen grapes and raisin bread. Other then that, I’m not eating a whole lot.
Life sure is crazy and of course, I had to take all the chaos to God in prayer. I finally heard what He wants me to do. I need to get back to my writing and I need to get back on track for bringing Him back into my life and keeping my faith strong.
I came to an aha moment today and I’m so glad John and I had time to talk about what I’ve been feeling. One thing is for sure, not everyone has our best interests at heart and sometimes, these same folks bring a lot of a hurricane into our lives. This is why I need to keep God as my focal point and thank goodness, John wants to help me get back where I need to be spiritually.
I’ll continue to petition Him this weekend and hopefully on Monday, I’ll be back to writing full force again.
Below are some photos I wanted to share with you that I took this week. I hope you enjoy them and until next time, sleep well and don’t forget, Love Life++Hugs.

I’m happy John’s son is near you. My son lived in Colorado for many years, and my heart ached for him. I know how that feels. I also am happy you are getting those tests, Dawna. There has to be a reason for all of the vomiting. I pray it gets identified and rectified quickly and easily. Love to you.

Thank you my dear friend. We are happy he’s home and can’t wait to spend more time with him.
I just got one test back and it came back normal. Thank goodness. It was a major worry so now, time to relax until Monday’s test, but I do feel optimistic since this one test came back all good.
Love and hugs to you too my dear friend.
