Happy Monday
How are you all doing on this wonderful and beautiful Monday morning? How was your weekend? I’d love to hear from you, so shoot me a text or drop me a message. You light up my day when I get to hear from you.
My weekend was a nice one. John and I ran some errands, enjoyed a nice evening out with our friends Art and Laura, then we finished off our Sunday with family. All in all, it was amazing. I’m heading back to lake life this morning. I have support group tonight, a doctor appointment tomorrow and painting on Wednesday evening. I love to paint. Who knows, maybe I’ll even get to enjoy some ceramic painting on Thursday morning. I do need to make sure I’m applying for some writing jobs first and foremost. That is my main focus. Need to start making some money. I got this, that is, with God’s help.
With so many changes happening in my life, I thought this quote I ran across seemed only fitting to share with everyone. Who knows, maybe one of you needs to hear it too.
“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.”-C. Joy Bell C.
I’m sure most, if not all of you would agree, change is not the easiest thing to embrace. For others, change may be something exciting. I know for me; change gives me anxiety. It’s hard for me to embrace the unknown. It’s not always the change that bothers me; it’s not having a clue as to what’s next.
I’m finding however, for me to grow, change and embrace throwing myself into the open, well, I need to hold the hand of the one and only that can bring me peace and solitude, God, the Universe, my higher power.
Life is a gift. “…the best way to succeed is to discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others.”-Oprah Winfrey. I have been given the success of discovering what I truly love, writing. Now, I just have to figure out how to turn my passion into income.
I am so grateful for a dear friend of mine, Kathy. She’s sent me a few jobs to apply for in the field of writing, and I know, I will land one of them. I’m sure the one that’s out there for me will allow me to find my way to it. I can’t wait. In the meantime, I will continue to work on getting my health back and I will live my life as though I already have, both a writing career and my health. I have started on a new medication and omg, it’s taking some getting used to. I’m a little weak, more tired, but it is helping my heart to slow down, so all in all, I’m on the road to being well.
Writing and working from my little safe place at home, fingers crossed, this is getting me ready for a real career in writing. If you know of any writing jobs, part time, I may just be your gal. God knows my limitations and he knows I can’t do a job where I have to be out and about every day, at least not right now. He knows I need to be able to work from home, for the time being. I have faith. I know wherever I’m supposed to be, I’ll be guided.
The only way to live is to grow. To grow in knowledge and understanding, what an amazing thing to embrace. There’s an entire world out there, I figure, it’s time for me to see the things I’ve dreamed of, experience the new of another culture, EAT PRAY LOVE. I want to know what it is to have a passion for food instead of fearing it. I want to pray and connect on new levels. Love, I want to work harder at loving with zero condition. Unconditional love, I want to give more of that, with no regret.
“The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.” Here I am, throwing myself into open and complete exposure. I want to learn new things. Here I am, being me. I’m growing into the person God wants me to be, stumbling as I find my way.
Life is about the journey, not the destination. I’ll either land where I’m supposed to or fly high to new adventures. Anxiety set in just writing that very sentence, but that’s a good thing, right? I mean, the unknown is supposed to be embraced, something I’m still working on.
I’ve got this, you’ve got this, together, we can build each other up and continue to support those who have lost their way. The only way to success is to work together, work at becoming the best version of ourselves. The only way is to hold close to our core beliefs and rely on the higher power of the Universe, or whatever you believe in.
I do wish each and every one of you the best life possible. You are loved, valued and appreciated. Thank you for reading today, without this audience, I might start to lose some of my confidence.
Until next time my wonderful and amazing readers, I do hope your week is as incredible as you, and please don’t forget, Love Life++
